Résumé

21 years across sleep medicine, practice operations, and IT.

Overview

I run day-to-day operations and IT for a pulmonology and sleep medicine practice and its two hospital-based sleep labs. That covers staffing, scheduling, credentialing and payer enrollment, billing oversight, purchasing and budget, AASM accreditation, and the quality program that keeps it. I started on the night shift running polysomnograms 21 years ago, which is still the most useful training I’ve had for the job.

The IT side is mine too — Microsoft 365 and Entra administration, endpoint security, HIPAA-compliant policy, SharePoint systems, and the internal tools I build when the off-the-shelf option doesn’t fit. I lean on Theory of Constraints to decide what actually deserves attention.

Web development grew out of that. I needed our practice site to be fast, accessible, and maintainable by non-developers, so I learned to build it properly. Now I do the same for a handful of small businesses through TriCity Technologies.
